‘Saka’ is IHMS brand ambassador

International Health Management Services (IHMS), one of Nigeria’s health maintenance organisations, has appointed award winning actor and comedian, Hafiz Oyetoro, popularly known as ‘Saka,’ as its brand ambassador.

Oyetoro was unveiled on Friday as the new face of IHMS at a media luncheon held at the company’s head office in Lagos.

Chidi Ukandu, CEO, IHMS, said Oyetoro was selected as the company’s ambassador on the strength of his passion for creative thoughts and excellence in delivery, which are consistent with the values of IHMS.

“Hafiz Oyetoro is a worthy ambassador of this generation. His value and passion for excellence in his chosen career is in consonance with the objectives and goals of IHMS as a first class health maintenance organisation,” Ukandu said, stressing, “We are convinced that he will add value to our brand as well as connect seamlessly with IHMS subscribers and potential subscribers.

“Over the last 15 years, IHMS has dedicated itself to serving our enrolees nationwide with best-in-class health insurance services with a view to promoting health and wellness in Nigeria. Our association with Oyetoro will complement our objectives.”

Oyetoro thanked the board and management of IHMS for finding him worthy to be the face of the company, saying, “Oyetoro/Saka and IHMS are in the same business of health care management; the only difference is that we use different approaches. While IHMS provides quality health maintenance services to people at affordable cost, Saka does his own through the vehicle of laughter and entertainment and, according to wellness experts; laughter is the best medicine in the world. It will be recalled that IHMS last year received the West African Quality Health Maintenance Organisation Company of the Year 2015 Award presented by the Quality Management Development Institute (QMDI). The award was instituted to recognise products, services, individuals and organisations that have excelled when measured against the framework of excellence.
