Vir2o’s user doubled after media event in Lagos

Vir2o (http://www.vir2o.com/), a new social media platform by East Coast Diversified Corporation, has announced it doubled the number of active users on the site within 72 hours after it held a media event in Lagos Nigeria.

Several national media participated in the event held by in Lagos on November 4th, 2013. The company intends to continue the push to other markets as way to grow the site from outside the US to within as users signed up from several of African countries during the event. Giving final remarks at the event was Mr. Wale Olaoye chairman and managing director of Halogen Security, Nigeria’s largest security firm and an exclusive partner to EarthSearch Communications, a sister company to Vir2o.

“As Nigerians we are wary of quality of products and services developed by fellow Nigerians, the technology developed by Vir2o is second to none as it truly bring people together in the true definition of socialization. As Africans, Vir2o is the first social media platform created by an African for global consumption, it is an achievement worthy of recognition and support from all of us,” said Mr. Wale Olaoye.

“The support from Nigerians and its neighbors especially Ghana was amazing, we are not going to relent in our efforts to grow the platform across the globe; we have a lot to bring to social media. Vir2o addresses the problem of fatigue on social media, by creating a truly interactive platform to socialize.
