FGBMF to strengthen capacity of Nigerian entrepreneurs, SMEs

 

The Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (FGBMF) says it has a set of programmes targeted at enhancing the capacity of Nigerian entrepreneurs and SMEs to enable them face economic challenges.

 

According to the Christian organisation, it will support Nigerian entrepreneurs with two life- changing seminars on June 10 and 11, 2015.

Fola Aguda, district coordinator of FGBMF,  said “the first day of the seminar will hold at NECA House Event Centre, Hakeem Balogun Way and will significantly build on local strengths, networks and support systems that can help Nigerian SMEs improve to meet the eminent challenges of globalisation”.

 

Aguda said the course content will include empowering people to become relevant in the market place, how to generate ideas for business, essential soft skills for small business, exploring the world of virtual malls for business start-ups, starting and managing successful poultry business and, most of all, to make profit. He said these will be taught for a token of N5000.

 

Charles A Aladewolu, managing director, TEKO group of Engineering, said “for the second day of the seminar holding at Lagos Sheraton and Towers, Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way, Ikeja, we have carefully selected opportunities available in the non-oil sectors and to prepare participants to take up the challenges of exploring such opportunities.”

 

Aladewolu said that the course content will include exploring agricultural value chains in the Nigerian economy, managing productivity, the social media effect, accessing sectoral funding for SMEs, exploring opportunities in the solid minerals sector, overcoming current challenges in international business and empowering for exploits in the market place.

 

Full Gospel International has been in existence since 1952, and was founded in Los Angeles USA by an American who had the vision and desire that men should know God as well as progress in their various businesses.

This fellowship exists in 163 nations of the world, including Nigeria. It has a total of 3000 chapters in Nigeria and 500 chapters in Lagos. South-Western district has about 250 chapters and they have come together and harnessed resources to bring these seminars at affordable prices, with life impacting course contents.
