Ingressive leads African entrepreneurs in Lagos Tour of Tech
Ingressive, a company supporting new generation of African innovators, is leading Tour of Tech in Lagos. The trip will afford global investors the opportunityto meet ministry, African influencers, and hundreds of SubSaharan startup founders.
Tour of Tech provides a deep dive into life as an African entrepreneur, as well as an understanding of policy from those who create it, and insight into investing from those who do it, according to Ingressive.
The agenda starts from the bottom of the pyramid, where travelers will tour Generation Enterprise, a company connecting Ivy MBAs with youth in the slums to build scalable start-ups.
This will be followed by a meeting with women leaders in business such as Adeola Azeez, head of Deutsche Bank, and Yemisi RansomeKuti, civil society advisor to World Bank and leader of women’s education Nigeria, as well as Bolanle Austen Peters, founder of Terra Kulture and former human rights leader for the United Nations.
Tour of Tech members will then attend an investor summit produced by Lagos Angel Network and VC4Africa.

Maya HorganFamodu, Ingressive’s founder, said: “The world has turned to Africa, and we welcome those ready to mentor and commit capital. Nigeria and Kenya have two of the fastest growing tech hubs in the world, the fastest growing consumer classes, incredible opportunity but imagine if we had the resources of Silicon Valley: namely, the access to working capital, the support network, the developed tech ecosystem,” HorganFamodu said.
“The purpose of Tour of Tech is to bring experts in building startups to meet, mentor, and invest in those ready to scale,” Horgan Famodu added.
