International trade fair for rubber, plastics holds October
Following a 60-year old tradition of presenting the foremost platform for the plastics and rubber industries, K, an international exhibition, returns this year to again captivate the world’s attention. K 2013 will be staged in Dusseldorf, Germany from October 16 – 23, with more than 3, 000 businesses from across the world convening at the world famous Messe Dusseldorf exhibition ground to showcase the latest developments in the industry and even more importantly present the innovative paths that will shape the future to over 200, 000 visitors.
Trade Fair Services Ltd, the West African regional representative of Messe Dusseldorf GmBH (organiser of K2013), held a presentation and press briefing recently introducing this year’s K2013 Dusseldorf International Trade Fair No 1 for plastics and rubber worldwide, at the Sheraton Hotels, Ikeja, Lagos. This year’s theme “K makes the difference.”
The event welcomed the presence of Jai Changrani, CEO, Sarsoli Industries Limited; Sophia Stephan, the economic attache, Cosultate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, and Nile Gwalani, a committed attendee of K (international fair), etc. The international trade fair K2013 is being organised by the German plastics industry under the supervision of Plastics Europe Deutschland e.V and Messe Dusseldorf, where company exhibits would be supplemented by a special show entitled “Plastics move the world.” K stands for innovation that gives companies the ability to innovate any product from plastics and rubber.
Sophia Stephan says “K fair is the myth and grit for innovation in any industry.” This was to buttress the importance of K2013. K is a plastic and rubber industry, which trade visitors use to obtain global overview of the current situation and the industry’s prospects for the future and get to know and directly compare new products and applications. K Dusseldorf is a trend barometer and innovation forum for the entire sector, with the latest developments and optimised technologies being premiered here every three years.
“K2013 will give us a complete overview of the changing world market, and we can look forward to a multitude of impressive innovations,” says the President of Messe Dusseldorf, who is the architect of K. K gives exhibitors the opportunity to exhibit their products and also get inspiration for the plastics and rubber world. At K2013, manufacturers of plastics and rubber products as well as their industrial end users will be able to witness the pinnacle of developments in machine, process and materials technology.
Jai Changrani says K fair is the largest plastic and rubber industry exhibition to show that Nigeria can produce products, saying that with the support of K2103, manufacturers and exhibitors will not only benefit from K fair but will also encourage them to participate every three years.
One thing in the world of plastics and rubber is undisputed: anyone who is interested in the innovations of the industry, or who wants to offer his customers even more attractive products or who is planning to invest or wants to find out about the competition – K is a must for all those wishing to consolidate or build on their market position.
