According to Mr. Sotayo Sosan, Executive Director of Operations at LS Scientific, foremost among these value added services is training and support, as he believes that their clients can only maximize the use of equipment and instruments when they are adequately trained and also receive enough support for maintenance.
Apart from the regular sales and delivery services which seems to be the norm in the industry, LS Scientific are taking a step further by offering training and maintenance services for scientific equipment and instrumentsdistributed to their clients. These trainings come in various formats bearing in mind the convenience and location of their customers. There are on-site, internet-based, classroom and even telephone trainings and maintenance support.In the last one month they have been able to provide trainings for Friesland Campina, Unilever Nigeria, and Sabmiller (Voltic Water).
With the expansion of its engineering department and support from international partners like VWR UK, Delagua UK, Steinfurt, Buchi, and Astell, rendering these value added services reassures customers of the company’s competence and competitiveness.
Mr. Sosan also explained that beyond capacity building programmes, LS Scientific would also deploy more manpower and fleet of delivery vehicles to ensure effective and timely access to its clientele.
