Nigerian-American Chamber’s workshop on business plan

In a move to improve the capacity of small and medium enterprises in Nigeria, the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) organised a workshop titled, ‘Writing a Winning Business Plan’. The workshop, which held in the chamber’s secretariat, was well attended with participants drawn from different sectors ranging from small business owners, business start-ups, employees in paid employment and would-be business owners.

The facilitator, Vivian Ani, a management consultant at Highnet Resources and a financial adviser to the USAID – West Africa Trade and Investment Hub educated participants on the fundamentals of a bankable business plan with highlights on areas potential lenders or investors will look out for.  Also on hand to give guidance on financing options for SMEs was William Addo, a finance specialist from the USAID West Africa Trade and Investment Hub based in Accra, Ghana.

The Workshop was the first in the series of training programmes lined up for the year.
