OlakunleSoriyan Company partners Microsoft to host empowerment program
In a bid to inspire, teach and expose thinkers, influencers and decision makers to the methods, importance and tools for going global in the 21st century, OlakunleSoriyan Company has partnered with Microsoft Nigeria to hold an empowerment program, themed, “Ideas Going Global”.
The event will hold in three different locations across the country, namely: Lagos, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja and Port Harcourt on December Friday 4, Friday 11 and Monday 13, respectively.
According to Microsoft, the Ideas Going Global Business Cocktail is designed to inspire and motivate individuals to come up with laudable ideas that will be universally acceptable and profitable. It also aims to ease the country’s unemployment challenge and equip SMEs with cloud-based technology which will make them productive.
Explaining Microsoft’s motivation on the partnership, Olusola Amusan, Corporate Citizenship Manager, Microsoft Nigeria, said, “At Microsoft, we are committed to empowering every individual and organization on the planet to achieve more, to be productive in business processes and create a more personal computing experience for individuals in the SME space.”
Amusan added that, “Due to the evolving nature of businesses in Nigeria, it is a necessity to adopt superior tactics that enable brands and businesses to be acceptable globally and tradable in any economy. At this conference, Microsoft would afford participant’s opportunities to harness the power of technology in boosting their businesses.”
Commenting on the Ideas Going Global initiative, Olakunle Soriyan , visionary and initiator of Ideas Going Global and Principal Transformation Strategist, said Ideas Going Global Cocktail was packaged to encourage people buy into technological inventions and innovations that can leverage their businesses on a global landscape, thereby, attracting purchasing power to Nigeria and consequently impact on GDP and per capita income.
