Oluwatobi Olanihun

Oluwatobi Olanihun is the Chief Operating Officer of WOW! Connect, an integrated event management and marketing company focused on creating mutually beneficial connections between brands and their clients.

‘Tobi is a qualified Quantity Surveyor from the Obafemi Awolowo University and is a certified UK Prince 2 practitioner.

Tobi spent about 4 years in Oando Marketing Limited where she left as the Retail Branch Manager, Ibadan, the biggest South Western territory second only to the Lagos area in sales and revenue. She left Oando Marketing to pursue her passion for organising spectacular events. Pursuant to this she birthed WOW! Connect Services Limited in November 2010.

Her events experience spans various top event management companies in Lagos and she has handled several high profile innovative events. ‘Tobi has headed several project teams that have planned and co-ordinated numerous noteworthy projects including; the Platform Nigeria (2 editions), an empowerment project with over five thousand attendees broadcast live over terrestrial TV in Nigeria and the Internet. In addition she has also spearheaded five editions of WOW! Connect Lifestyle events, a series involving world class fashion shows, musical performances and exhibitions.

Tobi Olanihun’s knack for organisation and project management ensures each project is successfully concluded to client satisfaction. Utmost focus is geared towards achieving all client objectives and this has generated continued references from them.

Tobi derives immense pleasure from accomplishing set objectives in her chosen field. She is an engaging and focused individual driven by excellence, creativity and integrity. She enjoys reading and travelling.
