3Invest partners European firm on Real Estate Unite Awards

In its determination to make the Real Estate Unite Awards more competitive, objective and standardized, 3Invest Limited, organizers of the award, has partnered with Sagaci Research, Europe as its official research partner for the  awards already slated for October this year.

Real Estate Unite Awards is an annual industry award designed to elevate standards, expose the potential  in the Nigerian Real Estate Industry, as well as encourage industry-wide best practices to further attract investment into Nigeria’s real estate market.

3Invest managing director, Ruth Obi, who disclosed this in a statement to announce the beginning of nominations for the award at the weekend, noted that the first edition of the awards was not  a jamboree, explaining that  some of the leading real estate companies that won the award last year were proud to be associated with what was the  most prestigious Real Estate Awards in Nigeria.

She admitted that “being the first of its kind in Nigeria, that is, a Real Estate Awards that covered all aspects of the industry, it was not a perfect outing”, assuring that  “this year, we have designed a template that will accommodate the ideas and advice from concerned experts on the 2012 edition”.

She revealed that they have increased the awards from 10 last year, to 15 this year in order to cover more grounds, adding,  “the integrity and credibility of the awards secured for us audience with one of Europe’s leading research firm, Sagaci Research founded by Former Boston Consulting Group associates, which  has accepted to partner with us to deliver a more credible and competitive nomination, selection, voting and adjudication process”.

The nomination which is expected to close by September 17, she said, seeks the Best Residential Project;  Best Commercial Project;  Most Active Real Estate Funding Company (Equity);  Leading Property Finance Company (Debt);  Property Construction Company of the Year ; Developer of the Year (2013); Most Innovative Architectural Design Company, and  Affordable Housing Developer of the Year.

Others are Best Real Estate Support Service Firm (Residential); Best Real Estate Support Service Firm (Commercial);  Best future Project;  Real Estate Journalist of the Year;  Real Estate Person of the Year; Architecture Design of the Year, and Outstanding Public Private Partnership Project of the Year.
