Agents to maximise global opportunities through Fine & Country’s applicant database

As part of efforts at making buyers and sellers’ experience as easy as possible using the latest technology and marketing innovations, Fine & Country, one of the world’s leading brands in luxury real estate, says it has launched what it calls ‘applicant database’ aimed to help agents maximise global opportunities.

The database, the company adds, also aims to enhance the buyer’s browsing experience on its website.
This was one of the developments announced at the company’s just concluded global conference described as ‘Fine & Country Finest Conference’ at the picturesque Walton Hall & Hotel in Warwickshire.

A statement signed by Katie Herbert of the company’s Media Centre and made available to BusinessDay reveals that the international conference, which was sponsored by Zoopla, was the biggest and most successful yet with representatives from the UK, South Africa, Portugal, Egypt, Nigeria, and France, as well as Russia, America, Hong Kong and Switzerland.
“This system can be mutually beneficial for both agents and buyers across the world,” Herbert said, explaining that “uploading applicants from across our operating countries is crucial for today’s buyers and sellers in the luxury residential market.”

Michael Lovett, managing partner of Fine & Country, Marbella, noted that “as we see London dominated by foreign investors, other European countries like Portugal and Spain are similarly seeing a high ratio of foreign buyers in this sector from developing markets in Asia, Africa and Russia,” adding that “while information remains private, it fundamentally allows Fine & Country’s international network to work in harmony and go the extra mile for prospective buyers in other countries.”

For this reason, expanding the international branch of Fine & Country has become a priority for George Betz, new head of International Global Business Development, who said “our new recruitment strategy works in parallel to the centralised applicant database; new licensees within the Fine & Country international network will directly participate and benefit from new innovations like these, which place us head and shoulders above our competitors.”

Peter Ford, head of National Business Development, who was introduced at this year’s conference, will have a similar role of developing the recruitment strategy for new licensees in the UK.
Other exciting international developments announced at the conference included the continuation of the exclusive iPad advertisements in the Telegraph’s latest news App. Fine & Country is still the only global estate agency group to advertise their properties on the Telegraph App, showing each office as the world leaders in media marketing.

George Betz said “Fine & Country’s multi-media property marketing has catapulted the brand into a worldwide arena; along with the new website tools like the save property search functions and the buyer’s database, our state-of-the-art digital advertising continues to ensure international properties receive the best possible exposure to the widest possible audience, to sell in the shortest amount of time for the best possible price.”

Having won the ‘Best International Real Estate Agency Marketing’ Award at the International Property Awards 2012 for the fourth consecutive year, the company has continually revolutionised the experience of looking for a new home and will continue to announce new innovations at next year’s conference
