Beryl Shelter determined to cause a stir in property market

Determined to do something unique and also give value to their clients, Beryl Shelter, a property marketing and development firm, is staging what it calls the most elaborate promotion in the country which promises to make a huge difference in the market space.

For anybody who refers a property buyer, seller or one that is renting to the company, the company assures, there is a mind-blowing prize to be won beginning from a 2014 model of Hundai Elantra to 10KVA generators, 52’’ LCD television sets, washing machines and brand new Iphones.

  At the launch of the company’s ‘Felix Grand Promotion’ recently to open this window of opportunities, Jide Sanwoolu, the company’s chiarman, explained that the promo was the company’s test case aimed to explore and expose all the possibilities and opportunities in the Nigerian property market.

“The market is almost static; we want to do something different; something that will stir the market; for us we are bringing a product that will make a difference and also change the property market”, he said, adding that they were out to improve the well being of people, especially investors and practitioners in the real estate sector.

Going down memory lane, Abiola Afolayan, the company’s CEO, disclosed that Beryl Shelter, incorporated in 2001 as a property marketing company, has always wanted to distinguish itself, recalling that they started out with giving out microwave oven to their clients and followed it up with free Lufthansa Air ticket.

Over time, she added, the motive had been to add value to their clients, pointing out that they give advisory services on where and when to buy or rent property and also where not to rent and vice versa.

The Felix Promo, she explained, came after they were sure of the market they are playing in, noting that the market was booming now because funds were coming from banks which were now willing to lend.

She emphasized that through this promotion in which there is no ballot, no draw, but one referral and only one car promotion scheme, the company hoped to stir the market by giving out prizes as stated above for simply referring intending buyers, sellers or renters of property in Lagos or Abuja.

The grand promotion, which is targeted at landlords, tenants and property investors in commercial and residential categories, brings novelty to promotions in Nigeria, especially in the property and real estate sector of the economy.

Amaka Shah, an official of Hyundai Motors Nigeria Limited, assured of her company’s commitment to this promo, explaining that the company hoped to get more market visibility for its product through the promo.  She encouraged interested persons to start sending in their referrals because “it is real”.

Beryl Shelter’s customers at the launch noted that it had good customer-relationship, pointing out that Afolayan’s passion for the customer’s investment coupled with the company’s demonstration of high level of professionalism were major attractions for them.
