Continent Worldwide Hotels announces first hotel in Africa

Travellers to Delta State will from December 2017 have a luxurious new base from which to explore the Oil City of Warri with the opening of Continent Hotel, Warri; a 55 key stylish guestrooms and suites. The hotel, which offers a mix of contemporary and historic themes and views of the ancient city, is the hospitality brand’s first-ever in Africa.

Centrally located off refinery road and overlooking Ekpan Police Station, the Continent Hotel, Warri is the newest addition to the city’s hotel offering. With 55 stylish guestrooms and suites, the property features a restaurant, bar, swimming pool and conference facilities that equally adept at hosting parties, conferences, seminars. Just outside its doors, guests can experience the best of Warri within minutes, from galleries to shopping and restaurants, parks, nightlife and more. Warri Airport, also known as Osubi Airstrip, is about 10 minutes drive by car from the hotel.

But design is not the only draw at this luxurious city hotel. A pair of noteworthy James Joyce Bar & People Restaurant offering farm-fresh fare throughout the day; and true to its European tradition, the hotel will also feature a delicious boutique offering and an artful taste of the most celebrated sweets. The Continent Hotel, Warri will look to the city’s creative community to bring the hotel to life and offer an unforgettable experience on every floor. The in-House People Restaurant is being created in collaboration with homegrown experts.

The Continent Hotel, Warri is the latest addition to the growing portfolio of Continent Hotels & Resorts and set to be its first property on the shores of Africa.
