Fresh offshore investment window opens in UK property market

The property market expects exciting moments, beginning from tomorrow, as Wrothams Windsor, Nigeria’s leading property adviser and real estate investment  company, and The Berkeley Group, UK’s number one property developer, will be unveiling three exclusive developments in Lagos and Abuja, offering fresh offshore investment opportunities to Nigerians wishing to move cash to UK market.

The launch schedule for August 12 and 13 at the WheatBaker Hotel in Lagos and 14 and 17 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja will unveil Royal Arsenal Riverside, 250 City Road and 375 High Street Kensington, all top development projects for property lovers.

Adam Jones, director of International Properties for Wrothams Windsor observed that Berkeley Homes is a unique developer that seamlessly combines historic and contemporary buildings.

According to him, “The launch of these three developments highlights Berkeley’s commitment to developing brand new, modern buildings, which bring high-quality and stylish design to the London Landscape. What sets apart these developments is the prime location that they command, giving clients amazing upside in the long run”

Jones noted that since 1976, The Berkeley Group has been successfully building homes and neighborhoods across London and the South East of England. In seeing the shortage of good quality homes, the Berkeley Group aims to make a lasting contribution to the British landscape and to the communities which they create.

He pointed out that the vision of the group was all-encompassing business strategy of  drawing focus to five key areas: Customers, Homes, Places, Operations and People. It is through this framework that they have become a world-class business; voted Britain’s Most Admired Company across all industries in 2011 and House builder of the Year from 2010 to 2012.

“Property developers and investors will have the opportunity to view Berkeley Homes Waterfront II at Royal Arsenal Riverside which boasts 205 Manhattan apartments as well as an exciting range of one, two and three-bedroom properties and penthouses. Waterfront II is situated on the banks of the River Thames, with over 1km of river-walk and favorably positioned close to the proposed four-acre Waterfront Park. A park set to establish a green link from the River Thames to the forthcoming Cross-Rail station and Woolwich town centre”, he said.

Situated in North East London, 250 City Road is set to launch its first phase and is quickly becoming the most talked-about London residential destination of 2015.

Designed by one of the most innovative and acclaimed architectural practices of the decade, Foster + Partners, 250 City Road delivers the optimum place to live and work. Situated in the heart of one of London’s most vibrant areas and very close to the City and the capital’s tech and creative quarters, this landmark scheme lays the foundations for an enduring new community.

Upon completion, the scheme will comprise 930 homes, expertly built by Berkeley Homes, a 190 bed 4* hotel, office and retail space, all set amid breath-taking architecture conceived to complement the existing surroundings.

Located at one of London’s most fashionable addresses, St Edward’s prestigious development -375 Kensington High Street- offers the height of luxury living in a highly sought-after neighborhood.

This eagerly anticipated development by the leading London developer has been uniquely designed to complement its regal surroundings, which include Kensington Palace, the Royal Albert Hall and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The area is renowned for its Royal Parks and Michelin star restaurants, while famous former residents including Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Beatrix Potter have helped Kensington earn its reputation for culture and art.

When complete, 375 Kensington High Street will comprise more than 500 homes including apartments and penthouses, and will transform this corner of the Capital into a flourishing new community.
