iCyrus scales up business, opens online market for home improvement products

In line with modern business trends which, increasingly, favour online market, iCyrus Online Merchant, a rapidly growing business with the primary aim of supplying customers with products and services for home improvement, has opened an online market/store for its range of products.

This move which the company recognizes as big business in e-commerce was borne out of their understanding that the average Nigeria buyer no longer likes to go to the physical market, but would rather sit in the comfort of his home or office and get all that he desires to have.

“iCyrus is out to move people along with the time—from analogue to the digital world”, said Alero Imo, Founder/MD of the company who spoke at the media launch of the online platform in Lagos recently.

The company which has a mission to be the foremost home improvement supply store in Nigeria, has been in the home improvement products market, selling tools and safety equipment, furniture and joinery products, bathroom and laundry, adhesives and sealants as well as other products that service the construction industry.

Through this “one-stop shop for home improvement products”, iCyrus would be making its quality products and services available online store, in addition to physical purchases which it had offered over the years.

“Our products and services touch every aspect of furniture, joinery and construction industry; we stock an extensive variety of products which include tools and safety equipment, furniture and joinery products, bathroom and laundry, adhesives and sealants as well as other affiliated products servicing the construction industry in Nigeria. With our increasing range of products, you will find anything you need to complete your home or building project at a competitive price”, the MD assured.

She explained that given the rapid growth of iCyrus, it was not only committed to supplying customers with quality products and services, but has also created a platform for ‘Do It Yourself’ (DIY) supplies. “Here, everything you need to improve your home or complete your building project will be found,” she said.

The Online Communication Manager, Olaolu Beckley, said that deliveries were within 72 hours, except for doors, kitchen cabinets and wardrobes which will be delivered within 14 days post-payment, depending on volume.

She said the company has the facility and network to deliver anywhere in Nigeria at no extra cost to the customer, adding, “we will inform customers of their tracking ID through a confirmation email”.

iCyrus products include doors, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, laundry and bathroom facilities, fasteners and fixings, shop-fitting facilities, tools and safety equipment, adhesives, chemicals and sealants, boards and other accessories.

Buyers get any of these products delivered to them by request, direct delivery to any part of Lagos or they come and pick the product. Those who supply their products for sale on the platform pay 10 percent commission to the company.
