Lekki-Epe real estate conference targets emerging opportunities
The need for developers, investors and stakeholders in the built environment to leverage on emerging opportunities in the fast-growing Lekki-Epe neighbourhood in Lagos will form the crux of the discussion at the maiden edition of the Lekki-Epe Real Estate and Business Conference.
Organised by Mitwork Limited, the conference is designed to help harness the potential that currently exists in the real estate sector and business in general around the axis.
According to the organisers, the unique platform will also educate, empower, create and add value to people and organisations operating in the area’s property market. The forum will also provide a platform for stakeholders to meet, deliberate, interact, network and forge better business relationships.
Themed ‘Harnessing Opportunities, Maximising Investment’, the forum will aim to provide an informal educational environment for the handling of various property renting and purchasing challenges on the axis.
Some of the topics to be discussed at the forum include: Real estate dynamics in the 21st century with focus on the Lekki-Epe axis; Building your own property at minimum cost; Dispelling myths, confusions and issues on property transactions in the Lekki-Epe axis; and Understanding and accessing mortgage.
To the organisers, the Lekki-Epe axis is currently one of the fastest-growing and -developing parts of Lagos. As such, it becomes essential to create a platform in a bid to harness the growing opportunity.
Speakers at the event include Bosun Jeje, commissioner for housing, Lagos State; Moses Ogunleye, president, Association of Town Planning Consultants of Nigeria (ATOPCON); Adeyemi Isiba, general manager, New Towns Development Authority (NTDA), amongst others.
The conference will hold at Orchid Hotel, Lagos, on October 10 and 11, 2013.
