New dawn for safety in homes, offices as firm unveils preventive solution
Almost on daily basis, domestic and industrial accidents happen which are scarcely reported, yet many lives are lost, injuries sustained and incalculable damage done to structural and mental balance.

The unveiling of the Surestep products and services by in Lagos at the weekend was one event Nigeria had been waiting for in its quest to find solution to avoidable accidents in its domestic and industrial space.
Surestep, a long-lasting chemical treatment that creates an invisible, sophisticated tread design into the surface of hard mineral floors and porcelain/enamel bathtubs, is being introduced into Nigerian market by No-Slips Limited—a wholly Nigerian company and a licenced distributor and partner of Surestep.
It is a product of Interlake Chemicals International based in Canada with distributors spread across more than 97 countries of the world. The product which has been proven for concrete, quarry tile, ceramic tile, glazed brick, marble, terrazzo, etc, increases a surface co-efficient of friction by 200-400 percent.

According to him, when rain falls, the entry way of every store and office building becomes a danger zone to customers and staff, stressing that every marble floor that has just been mopped, every kitchen in every restaurant or school cafeteria; every bathtub in every hotel and home, every washroom floor with a few drops of water, high-traffic areas where spills, drops and pools can occur are especially at risk.
He listed potential areas of ‘slip and fall’ in homes as bathrooms, tubs, kitchens, stairs, seating rooms; businesses/commercial places such as malls, hotels, restaurants, banking halls, offices, factories, swimming pools etc. Having a secure floor to walk on gives peace of mind and confidence at both homes and offices. “No-Slips Limited is, therefore, into the business of giving that peace of mind; we can never seem to be too careful as slip and fall accidents happen unexpectedly.
