Northcourt, Broll, JLL shine, emerge tops in Euromoney Real Estate awards
Northcourt Limited along with Broll Property Services and Jones Lang LaSale (JLL) have demonstrated why they are part of Nigeria’s leading real estate firms by emerging tops at the latest Euromoney Real Estate Awards.
For the second year running, Northcourt, which is a real estate investment company focused on providing knowledge-based real estate research and advisory, brokerage, facility management and project management services, has been awarded the Best Real Estate Research Consultants and Advisors in Nigeria by Euromoney.
In addition, the firm also won the Best Real Estate Research Consultants in Nigeria. This is the 13th annual Real Estate Survey and it had JLL and Broll come in second and third place respectively. Other winners include CBRE, named the top global real estate advisory firm.

Euromoney has been a strong voice in covering macro-economic issues, global banking and portfolio performance since 1969. This year, Euromoney received over 2,000 valid responses from real estate developers, advisors, financial institutions, investors and corporate end-users worldwide rating who are best at providing real estate products and services in their market.
Ayo Ibaru, Director, Real Estate Advisory at Northcourt, disclosed that their company also holds regular knowledge events and provides principle-based services across its business arms, adding that industry professionals, policy makers and institutional investors, pundits and global research bodies have come to rely on the firm’s research reports.
Twice a year (June and December), the company brings together thought leaders across industries such as finance, economics, investment banking, business management, pensions administration and real estate to share their unvarnished perspectives on the Nigeria economy and the real estate market in a round table event.
Recently, the company launched a Housing Economics Evening talk in Lagos and Abuja to discuss housing decisions across different age groups. Both locations were well attended and thought provoking.
Recently, in Lagos, real estate experts shared insights with real estate students at an exciting event tagged ‘Why I Love Real Estate’. The aim of the event was to rekindle and fuel passion for property in the profession’s future leaders. In addition, it was aimed to equip the youth in tertiary institutions with tools for a more rewarding career.
On the panel for this program were seasoned players in the Nigerian real estate industry including Rogba Orimalade, the current chairman of the Lagos State Branch of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) and Gbenga Olaniyan, CEO, Estate links. Attendance was free.
