Residential opportunity opens as UPDC begins construction on Pinnacle Estate
For home buyers and buy-to-let investors, opportunity has opened as UACN Property Development Company (UPDC) plc, Nigeria’s leading light in residential estate development, has turned the sod to build Pinnacle Estate in Maitama, Abuja.
A joint venture project between the company and Imani Holdings – developers of lmani Estate, also in Maitama – Pinnacle Estate is a premium 27-unit residential development which, according to Hakeem Ogunniran, UPDC’s CEO, is another piece of luxury from his company.
At the groundbreaking to commence construction which attracted project partners including Suleiman Abubakar, Imani Holdings’ MD, and Adekunle Oyinloye, MD/CEO, Infrastructure Bank, Ogunniran assured that the estate would live up to its name with a promise of offering luxury living at its pinnacle.
He highlighted UPDC’s successful outings in Abuja, disclosing that the company had executed such projects as Metro City Estate, Apo; Emerald Court, Apo; Salatu Royal Estate, Wuse; Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) Building in the Central Business District (CBD); Audit House (Auditor General’s office), also in CBD; among others.
Describing Pinnacle as a rare opportunity which interested home buyers and investors should buy into, Ogunniran also disclosed that a good number of the units have been taken up by people who know UPDC for its commitment to delivering quality products in time and on budget.
Abubakar, MD of Imani Holdings, also assured that “on this site would rise a monument that will be a tribute to all who aspire to live in this neighbourhood”. He added, “It’s a great honour to work with UPDC which is one of the biggest property developers in Nigeria.”
On his part, Oyinloye, Infrastructure Bank’s CEO, said they were proud to partner UPDC on this project, believing that “with what is on board, the estate will live up to its name as the Pinnacle”.
The estate, which sits on 5,000 square metres of land, promises 27 luxury apartments comprising 20 units of three-bedroom flats, four units of four-bedroom flats, two units of four-bedroom Maissonettes, and one unit of one-bedroom apartment.
All the units will, according to the developers, have luxury finishing and would come equipped with fitted kitchens and air conditioners, and the expectation is that the project will be completed within the next 18 months.
Befitting its name, Pinnacle Estate promises such recreational facilities as swimming pool, gymnasium, children’s playground and a club house, plus other facilities including borehole and water treatment plant, PHCN electricity and standby generator, ample parking lots for residents and visitors, security, fire alarm, etc.
To ensure that the estate functions effectively, it will be fully serviced by UPDC’s team of professional facility managers.
