The Wings Towers pre-leasing underway as November delivery target nears
As construction work tappers towards November completion target, pre-leasing has commenced at The Wings Towers—an iconic Grade A office building sitting on a massive land area on Ozumba Mbadiwe Avenue, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Towers, which has 27, 000 square metres lettable ultra-modern, highest quality office space across 12 floors that overlook the Five Cowrie Creek, is designed to support and exceed the business needs of world-class organisations by offering an exemplary blend of the highest technical specification, convenience and security. It is being constructed by renowned contractors, Cappa & D’Alberto, which attests to its build quality and expected superb finishing.
3Invest, a real estate investment and advisory firm, has been appointed alongside other leasing agents to engage the right tenants in pre-leasing prime office space in the towers which the developers, RMB Westport, hopes will create an ideal setting for business lunch and professional functions.
The developers hinted that a public lobby, complete with porte cochère, on the ground floor, would welcome guests and tenants from the creek, street, and all parking levels, creating a central area that seamlessly directs everyone to their respective destinations within the building.
“The Wings Towers is set to become the premier office address in Lagos with its state-of-the-art facilities, superb location and wealth of choice amenities”, said Ruth Obih, 3Invest’s CEO, in a statement in Lagos at the weekend in which she announced plans for the towers.
Obih said that with about seven months to completion, pre-leasing of the towers was well underway on the west wing, revealing that the building was already half occupied by its anchor tenant, Oando Plc.
This iconic building is targeted at high-level organisations and multinationals who are major players in their respective sectors, ranging from banking and finance, legal and professional services, telecoms and oil & gas to technology, business conglomerates, engineering, and more. “Businesses of this calibre will occupy a space that reflects their business ambition and effortlessly complements their exceptional standards”, Obih assured.
According to her, people hail the project as the first of its kind because of its 700-bay podium beneath the towers which offers a ratio of around three bays per 100 square metres of leasable area.
She hinted that each of the 12 floors of the complex has a space in excess of 1000 square metres with multi-tenancy options from 1-4 tenants per floor, designed to accommodate flexible partitioning, adding that at 27,000 square metres, the Wings Towers was the largest Grade ‘A’ office building in Lagos today.
“The building is a world-class office complex not just in name, but also comprises a wealth of amenities and features which earn it its reputation of excellence and consideration for its elite occupiers. Tenants will be treated to a spacious, modern work environment that receives ample natural light and with views of the surrounding city”, she assured further.
Some other features which make the building unique include its LEED certification, a banking hall, function deck for social events and corporate get-togethers, security receptions controlling access to each tower, ground-floor meeting rooms, intelligent building management system, shower facilities and wet service management system for soil and waste water. “The building’s distinguished LEED certification establishes its commitment to the highest standards of sustainability and energy efficiency”, Obih noted.
